While today’s hearing aids are very complex, this first course will take you back to the basics of amplification. We will review how to successfully achieve a proper ear impression and then discuss how to choose correct acoustic options, so the patient has the best sound quality right out of the box.
This course will also discuss feedback, when and why it occurs, and provide an understanding of the signal processing strategies used to manage feedback in hearing aid technology today. Lastly, we will discuss some practical clinical troubleshooting considerations.
